I exported my ovid medline and embase files into xml and ris. But I keep getting an error when I upload it to Rayyan. Something that say "unsupported document or incorrect format."

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Sharlin

Hi Sharlin,

We only accept XML files produced by PubMed. We do accept files in the RIS format. However, we noticed that some databases add extra information that are not part of the standard RIS format. If you send us a ticket with the RIS file, we can check it.

Best,

Dear Mourad

I am facing the same problem when trying to import files from EMBASE, irrespectively to the format (XML, Excel, CSV).

Could you help me with this issue?

For your attention and support, thank you,

Felipe

Dear Felipe,

As explained in Rayyan when adding a new search, we accept the following format for the references:

So you need to make sure your files are in one of these formats.

It would be great if they could allow the import of any OVID format into Rayyan directly. Now no format works, and it is a big problem. Thank you
